PLACES IN MALAYSIA​

Hello, guys! Today I want to post about places in Malaysia. As a proud Malaysian, I really want to introduce my country to all of the people in this country. There are many places that are interesting in Malaysia and if you are considering to visit this country, then this post might help you. There are a lot of places that might not make it in the list, so you should probably search for it in google

Now let’s look at the places in Malaysia.

1. Kuala Lumpur

The national capital state of Malaysia. It is the most popular global city in Malaysia. When you heard about Malaysia then this place comes to your mind. It has many attraction for you to visit.If you want to visit this city, then I really recommend you to visit the Petronas Twin Tower or commonly called KLCC by the locals. It is the main attraction and the landmark of Kuala Lumpur, along with nearby Kuala Lumpur tower. The twin tower used to be the tallest building in the world from 1998 to 2004 but remain as the tallest twin tower in the world. Besides the skyscrapers, there are other attractions in Kuala Lumpur that you must visit the national Museum, the national Zoo, Merdeka square, the National Monument and many others.

2. Langkawi Island

Located in the state of Kedah and officially known as Langkawi the Jewel of Kedah. It is  one of the most famous islands in Malaysia. The island was given a World Geopark status by UNESCO. The place has many attraction that an island could offer. As an island, the beach would be the popular choice by tourist. Some of the most popular beaches are Pantai Cenang, Pantai Tengah, Burau Bay, Pantai Kok and Datai Bay. Other than the beaches, the Langkawi Cable Car takes visitors up to the peak of Gunung Mat Cincang, where the Langkawi Sky Bridge is located. The cable car and the sky bridge will leave you with  awesome memories that will last for years. Besides, there is also The Kilim Karst Geoforest Park( The Kilim River ).You will experience rich wildlife adventure as you will see many animals such as the hairy nosed sea otters, brown- winged kingfisher, monitor lizards and swimming macaque monkeys. Overall, this place is one the must visit place in Malaysia.

3. Malacca City

Malacca is known as the historical city of Malaysia. This place offers many attraction, all clearly representing the great history of the city.The first attraction is the St. Paul’s Church. The building was build during the Portuguese’s  era. It is a beautiful building with Dutch traits that attract a lot of visitors from all over the world. Another great attraction is a  boat trip that runs through the city. During the boat trip, you will travel through the Street Art where there are many graffiti drawings on the buildings along the river. Next, is the Jonker Street  Night Market. Here, you can buy various ornaments.There are also a lot of restaurant and eateries that are famous among the local.So, you should consider visiting malacca when you travel to Malaysia.

4. Kota Kinabalu

Kota Kinabalu, formerly known as Jesselton is the capital of the state of Sabah. The city is located on the northwest coast of Borneo facing the South China Sea. the major attraction at this place is probably the Mount Kinabalu National Park. Mount Kinabalu is the highest mountain in Malaysia. In fact, the National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Climbers can enjoy the nature of the mountain and found many different species of animals and plants. The mountain is also the home of the Rafflesia flower plant. It is the biggest flower in the world. For those who don’t like mountain climbing, then you can visit Tanjung Aru beach. You can enjoy the sunset by the beach while eating delicious food at a nearby food stall.There are other places that you can visit when you travel to Kinabalu. So, make you have plan your travel properly.

5. Tioman Island

Tioman Island is a small island in Rompin District,Pahang, Malaysia. In the 1970s, TIME magazine selected Tioman as the world’s most beautiful island. The island is popular for its marine life. there are numerous coral reefs and this place has become the main attraction for scuba divers. Apart from that, the crystal clear sea water is also very popular and it is popular for snorkeling activities. There are many resort and chalets on the island, so you can enjoy a relaxing day while enjoying the nature. If you want to travel to Malaysia, then this place  highly recommend.
